My artistic style takes shape especially in illustrations, oil on canvas and watercolor paintings. The passion for painting pushed me to search for new communication techniques.
The collage, used with old photos of characters who lived in the nineteenth century, opened a new world for me to rediscover the still image.
I find it interesting to study old photos, because in the Victorian era you never smiled,
this is due to the difficulty of maintaining a smiling expression, for the shutter speed required for shooting.
This still image, leads me to approach the thought of still subjects during the pose period.
For me, investigative work becomes a form of introspection.
The right inspiration to change the expression of the nineteenth-century subject takes place by creating a metamorphosis between past and present.
