Best Art Awards Competition

 

The Best Art Awards competition is open to all artists—amateurs and professionals—from around the world. Anyone aged 18 or over may enter, except employees of Best Art Awards.

As a cultural partner, VIP Crossing funds the entry fees for 10 selected artists.

The first condition: the artistic proposal must relate to the spirit and the name of the VIP Crossing website—creativity, culture, emerging talent, or artistic expression around the theme of “crossing/passage” and shining a light on artists.

The second condition: have a fan zone on the VIP Crossing platform and at least 50 followers.

This initiative aims to encourage creators to take part in an international competition while highlighting their connection to a leading platform dedicated to talent and culture.

 

Nine (9) artists will be chosen directly by the VIP Crossing team, based on the artistic relevance of their proposal and its connection to the site’s universe.

One (1) additional artist will be selected based on community support: the candidate with the highest number of fans on their collection published on VIP Crossing.

The deadline for submissions is December 15, 2025 at midnight.
Official results will be announced on December 20, 2025.

VIP Crossing reserves the right to make the final selection and ensure the transparency of the process.

By entering the Best Art Awards competition, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
By participating, you agree and acknowledge that Best Art Awards is permitted to receive your registration data.

Any image submitted to the competition may be used by Best Art Awards and its media partners solely for communication and promotional purposes related to the competition. You hereby grant Best Art Awards a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide license across all media for any use connected to the competition.

Best Art Awards may publish any material you submit, post, upload, email, or otherwise transmit to the website at its sole discretion, and may make additions or deletions to such material prior to publication.

ENTRY CONDITIONS

To enter, you must upload your work via the official website: www.bestartawards.com, following the on-screen instructions carefully.

  • There is no limit to the number of entries per artist.

Fees and schedule:

  • Single entry: €17

  • Series entry: €25

  • Entering the same work in multiple categories: additional €10 per category.

Final deadline: December 31, 2025
Results: February 2026 (exact date to be announced)

ENTRY TYPES

Single entry

  • A photograph of a single work of art.

  • Diptychs and triptychs may be submitted as a single work if their parts cannot exist independently. In this case, upload one image including all parts.

Series entry

  • You may submit 2 to 3 photos around a single theme or concept (e.g., portraits, still lifes, triptych, diptych, etc.).

⚠️ Once entry fees have been paid, no refunds are possible.

WORK RULES

  • All works must be original and created 100% by the submitting artist.

  • Copies of existing works, as well as paintings made from another person’s photograph (even copyright-free), are not eligible.

  • Paintings based on photographs taken by the artist are permitted.

  • Photography, computer-generated creations, prints, or painted/edited photographs are prohibited.

  • Works may be older or recent.

  • Accepted: painting, drawing (pencil or other), collages, and digital works created on a graphics tablet (category Digital Art).

File specifications:

  • Size: under 5 MB

  • Dimensions: at least 1920 pixels on the longest side (72 dpi)

  • Format: JPEG, sRGB color space

JUDGING AND EVALUATION

  • Works will be judged by a designated jury, category by category.

  • The winner of each category will be the artist with the highest score.

  • Top overall scores across categories will receive the major prizes, including the title of Painter of the Year.

  • Decisions of Best Art Awards are final and binding.

PRIZES

  • Gold Winners in each category: physical medal + digital diploma (medal shipping costs paid by the participant).

  • Silver/Bronze/Blue: physical medal + digital diploma (shipping costs paid by the participant).

Painter of the Year 2025:

  • Cash prize: $3,000 via PayPal (only payout method).

  • Trophy

  • Gold medal

  • Digital diploma

  • Exclusive interview on the official website
     

COPYRIGHT & USAGE RIGHTS

  • Artists retain their copyright at all times.

  • For awarded works, artists grant Best Art Awards a non-exclusive license to use high-resolution images to promote the competition (print, online, social media).

  • Images will be used only in connection with the competition and will never be resold or commercially exploited by third parties.

  • Best Art Awards reserves the right to publish winners’ images on its official social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter).
