Une compétition dominée par les femmes

Beyoncé âgée de 39 ans pourrait bien marquer de son emprunte cette nouvelle édition des Grammy Awards. Avec déjà 24 Grammys à son actif, la chanteuse américaine n'a pas perdu un poil de son talent et de sa détermination.  Les récompenses américaines de la musique, qui auront lieu le 31 janvier risque de confirmer sa suprématie. Elle est d'ores et déjà en pôle position, avec neuf nominations, notamment pour son titre Black Parade sorti cet été. Une sortie remarquée car elle rappelle les manifestations contre les inégalités raciales après la mort de George Floyd.

Ce titre se retrouve dans la réédition de l'album paru à l'occasion de la sortie du film Le Roi lion. Il concourt notamment dans la prestigieuse catégorie de Chanson de l'année.

Le reine de la Pop devance deux autres chanteuses, la Britannique Dua Lipa et l'Américaine Taylor Swift. Arrive aussi le rappeur Roddy Ricch. Ils sont tous de gros concurrents car ils  ont remporté six nominations chacun lors des annonces 100% virtuelles organisées par l'Académie américaine de la musique.
